THE SPACE WE INHERIT IN THE WORLD

Parcels arrive. They are boxes filled with bespoke internal packaging. Packaging designed to protect, to contain and keep safe. Paper pulped and moulded but roughly hewn and imprecise. Without the contents, the subject there are no clues about the inhabitant in this negative space. The remains are an approximate indication. The energy, has escaped these confines, this spent husk that has held and nurtured its inhabitant. How will this potential protect itself out in the world?

Passive containers: diagrammatic, surveilled, interiors of absence, compositions of semantic dementia, evidence of a past in these flat packed kitchen arenas.

It is drawn across 16 pieces of paper extending 2m 6 x 2m across the wall…….. It fills my field of vision……….. I am contained…… dwarfed in its cave……….. a half-seen…………. half remembered……….. landscape enveloping me.
